'Bring & Buy' was driven by Nick Knight's desire to show the value of clothes from the perspective of their owner's experience of them. Pieces were received from viewers and fashion personalities along with a letter from the owner detailing their 'story'. They were then featured in a shoot for i-D magazine before being auctioned off for charity. — Fashion Film — Soap Opera: Episode#9 Joseph Lally Have you been following cult experimental filmmaker Joseph Lally's 'Soap Opera' series? The latest addition, 'Episode#9: Death in Venice', continues to champion Warhol's infamous screen tests and sees Neul McGough applying for the role of a gangster in a French new wave film. Explore the series as it continues to unravel. — Interviews — Photographing William Burroughs Kate Simon In conjunction with our current exhibition of portraits of William S. Burroughs by Kate Simon, we've been releasing a series of interviews with the photographer. Simon has been revealing interesting anecdotes about the acclaimed novelist while in conversation with curator Niamh White. — #DIESELVENICE Nicola Formichetti & Nick Knight Last week, the first Diesel show under the creative direction of Nicola Formichetti took place in Venice. It was a spectacle not to be missed, and with our exclusive edit of the show footage, you don't have to! Alongside this we are exclusively releasing the complete set of films created by Nick Knight for the catwalk. The film came in four acts and was displayed in a triptych, mirroring traditional Italian art. Imagery ranged from footage of heavy metal bands and burning churches to clips of hardcore porn projected onto the bodies of ballet dancers. The final act saw selfies from the Diesel audience manipulated using some of Knight and Formichetti's favourite apps into wonderful, striking distortions. The shots were taken during Knight's 10 year period as the brand's imagemaker, a defining era in the history of Dior.
