We asked our brilliant contributors - Kate Moss, Bjork, Kim Jones, Edison Chen and Astrid Andersen - to donate clothing from their personal archives and wardrobes to be customised by Merry and sold off via a silent email auction. All profits go to towards saving the park - so place a bid on the first item, a customised Louis Vuitton jumper donated by Kim Jones, now via bid@showstudio.com. Ho ho ho!

— In Fashion Cottweiler Matthew Dainty and Ben Cottrell, the design duo behind Cottweiler, were interviewed as a part of our ongoing 'In Fashion' series. The designers spoke to Lou Stoppard about their references, collaborating, the future of menswear and the ways sportswear can be misrepresented. In conjunction with the interview, the brand's S/S 16 collection launched exclusively on our SHOWstudio/MACHINE-A online store - shop now. — Charity Project — Merry's Christmas James Merry This Christmas, SHOWstudio have joined forces with master embroiderer James Merry and Icelandic environmental NGOs for our latest charity initiative. Merry will embellish garments donated by fashion stalwarts such Kim Jones, Kate Moss and Astrid Andersen with endangered flowers native to the Icelandic Central Highland area, currently under the threat from man-made structures. These exclusive pieces will be auctioned off via silent bidding, starting on December 25. Start saving! — Project — Branded Bess NYC, Carrie Scott and Lou Stoppard 'Branded' is a new project exploring the role and appeal of logos in fashion. Alongside two films created by Bess NYC, the artist infamous for collaging and overlaying logos from high-fashion brands such as Givenchy, Dior and Celine with imagery found on the internet, sits interviews and essays focusing on logomania and its history within fashion and art. — Collections — Men's Fashion Week A/W 16 The latest set of menswear fashion shows is commencing on January 8 2016. The A/W 16 collections from London, Milan and Paris will be reviewed by our editor, Lou Stoppard, while writer Daryoush Haj-Najafi will be joined by a variety of industry professionals in our customary live panel discussions. — Print Frank magazine 'Print' is a series that challenges the notion that magazines are dead by reviving discontinued fashion magazines that have had a significant influence on the industry today. In the latest instalment, Lou Stoppard interviews Harriet Quick about Frank, an outspoken nineties women's magazine that lasted just a few issues. Peruse scans from the title for archive shoots by Sølve Sundsbø, Charlotte Stockdale, Marie-Amelié Sauvé and many more featuring the best fashion from 1997, 1998 and 1999. — Fashion Film — Ruins Magazine: A declaration Christos Petritzis and Uli-K Created by Christos Petritzis, Ruins magazine is an effort to produce a publication for today's generation. Entitled 'Growth Euphoria Crisis,' the first issue focuses on fashion visuals, political essays and writings on culture. SHOWstudio launched an exclusive film in conjunction with Ruins' first issue. — Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator Nick Knight SHOWstudio are proud to announce that Nick Knight received the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator at this year's British Fashion Awards for his outstanding contribution to the global fashion industry. Knight started his career in 1982 with the publication of his photography book 'Skinheads' and has since worked with the biggest names in the industry. In 2013, Knight photographed the 'Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore!' exhibition catalogue. Alongside the catalogue, SHOWstudio conducted a series of interviews with Blow's main collaborators and friends. To celebrate both Blow and Knight, revisit the series. — Documentary — Sole Searching in South America 2 Gary Aspden, Ian Brown and Robert Brookes In 2014, Gary Aspden was informed about a shop in Buenos Aires filled with vintage adidas pieces. Aspden, alongside other adidas fans Ian Brown and Robert Brookes, visited the Argentinian store and became friends with its owner, Carlos Ruiz. Their journey was documented in 'Sole Searching in South America.' In the sequel, Aspden and the group return to the now famous store to present Ruiz with the exclusive 'Carlos' shoe. — Essay — The North Country in History Adrian Green As part of our 'North' series - a project questioning the way the North of England is portrayed in fashion - academic Adrian Green has written an explorative essay on the history of Northern England. Green unpicks the contributing factors that affect today's cultural and social differences between the North and South of England, commenting on varying traditions, fashions and factions. — Fashion Film — Caitlin Price S/S 16 Caitlin Price, Benjamin Bowe-Carter For her S/S 16 presentation, Caitlin Price collaborated with Benjamin Bowe-Carter to create two fashion films. Price's hedonistic inspirations; early nineties rave club scenes, youth and dance, take centre stage in the duo's first film. The second short showcases Price's S/S 16 presentation, overlaid with the same rave music. — Exhibition — A Beautiful Darkness Gareth Pugh Our 'A Beautiful Darkness' exhibition features artworks by twenty-two illustrators, pieces by Anthony James and Nick Knight, as well as a collection of paintings by Marvin Gaye Chetwynd. Also on show are two garments by Gareth Pugh, created exclusively for the 'A Beautiful Darkness' event. Featured in a film by Ruth Hogben and showcased on dancers at the event, Pugh's two clown-inspired outfits can be seen up close in our Motcomb Street gallery in London until 15 January 2016. — Competition — Fashion Film Award SHOWstudio and QIC Global Real Estate As the latest step in his quest to develop the medium, Nick Knight has announced SHOWstudio's first ever Fashion Film Award, in collaboration with QIC Global Real Estate. Knight is calling upon all innovative and aspiring filmmakers from across the globe to submit a short film.
