From 8 - 9 July Nick Knight set upon capturing some of the finest haute couture gowns for his first Vogue Japan story in 9 years. Joined by a dream team of creatives – Sarajane Hoare, Sam McKnight, Lisa Eldridge, Deborah Milner and Marian Newman – as well as the whole on-set team, Knight photographed Grace Elizabeth and Anok Yai in looks from Chanel, Valentino, Givenchy, Iris van Herpen and more. In true SHOWstudio style, we live streamed the whole two-day shoot so you can watch all the action back before Vogue Japan's January 2020 issue hits stores. There's more! The exhibition – which opened on 12 July – showcases a selection of glorious floral renderings, conceived by Doherty during an artist residency in Goa. The paintings, each with their own organic idiosyncrasies, are a celebration of nature in its most exquisite state. To enhance the ambience of the exhibition, Floral Street is scenting the gallery space with Doherty's favourite fragrance, 'Black Lotus'.
