CURRENT GET BACK, STAY BACK!
Today sees the launch of an exciting and innovative new SHOWstudio fashion film series, Get Back, Stay Back! In a pioneering venture, supermodel Lara Stone is filmed by Nick Knight while defending herself from vicious attack, using Krav Maga, a defence system developed by the Israeli Defence Forces. Styled by Carine Roitfeld, the editorial Get Back, Stay Back! sees Stone demonstrate to women worldwide the most effective means of defence against violent assault. In a twist on our conventional views of defence training, Stone is clad not in sportswear but in high fashion. These unique films serve two functions - showcasing next season's key styles, and offering instruction to women, a high-fashion 'how to' of self-defence. These educational fashion films are now live on SHOWstudio.com. You can also see the editorial in V magazine, issue V76. [more]
