— Subjective Erin O'Connor Our rolling 'Subjective' series, which presents the history of contemporary fashion photography told from models' perspectives, continues. Erin O'Connor spoke to Nick Knight about working with Richard Avedon on a Versace campaign, recalling his playful attitude and diverse references. 'In real life he was sort of like a naughty little boy. He must have been in his seventies when I first met him and I developed a huge crush on him,' she confessed. The piece explores the idea of the uncanny - 'that strange feeling that arises when we encounter something that is both familiar and unfamiliar at once' - and cites the work of designers such as Christopher Kane and J.W Anderson. — Live Shoot — Graduate Fashion Week Marie Schuller & Jon Emmony SHOWstudio was at Graduate Fashion Week on Tuesday 3 June, occupying the Fashion Forward space to showcase the creation of a film. Shot by Marie Schuller and Jon Emmony, the film features the winning piece from our J.W. Anderson 'Design Download' competition. The design by Ryan Rodriguez was modeled by Harmony Boucher and shot against a backdrop of digital effects created live by the SHOWstudio team. Provocatively entitled 'Fashion Fetish', the series features fashion films from the likes of Ruth Hogben, Daphne Guinness and Aimee Mullins, and essays by Valerie Steele, Harriet Walker and Erika Eiffel.
