— Lucid: Iris van Herpen A/W 16 Nick Knight, Iris van Herpen and Amanda Harlech Iris van Herpen presented her A/W 16 collection 'Lucid' at Paris Fashion Week on 8 March 2016. The show explored the theme of lucid dreaming and continued her signature blending of technology with handicraft. Continuing her collaborative relationship with SHOWstudio, Iris van Herpen asked Nick Knight and stylist Amanda Harlech to produce a fashion film featuring her A/W 16 designs. The iridescent, shimmering dresses are reflected and refracted in motion creating an illusory, dream-like film. Watch the work exclusively on SHOWstudio. — Fashion Film — Cav Empt S/S 16 Cav Empt Cav Empt's S/S 16 fashion film, shot between the UK and US using drones, was directed by Ben Drury and Georgia. The film features artist Bafic and Sporting Life, the producer from New York-based hip hop group Ratking. The collection and film takes its inspiration from Adolfo Bioy Casares' 1940 novel 'La Invencion de Morel' and the later Italian film adaptation from 1974. Released as part of our celebration of the enduring impact of David Bowie on fashion, the video features behind-the-scenes footage of Nick Knight shooting Kate Moss in Bowie's Kansai Yamamoto kimono top and shorts from 1973 for the May 2003 issue of Vogue.
