Nick Knight, Daphne Guinness and Iris van Herpen In 2013, Nick Knight and Daphne Guinness joined forces with the couturier Iris van Herpen to create a 'Crystallisation' dress during a live broadcast. Knight used high speed cameras to capture Guinness being splashed with black and clear water, and these images were used by van Herpen to create the one-of-a-kind dress. Combining traditional couture techniques and futuristic technology, she created a shape-shifting garment that Knight then captured in a photoshoot.
