— #StyleShootDraw Nick Knight, Chaos Fashion, GARAGE Magazine and more On 30 June and 1 July 2016, SHOWstudio undertook its first ever Facebook Live broadcast. The stream, a collaboration with GARAGE Magazine, encompassed a high fashion photoshoot and a luxury life drawing class. Nick Knight shot models such as Molly Bair and Ruth Bell, while 20 of the world's top illustrators rendered them in paint, pencil and ink. Charlotte Stockdale styled, selecting fashion by the likes of Balenciaga, J.W. Anderson and Moschino. Over a two day period, the illustrators arranged themselves in a life drawing setting, capturing models Yasmin Wijnaldum, Ruth Bell, Julia Banas, Jazzelle Zanaughtti, Selena Forrest, Molly Bair and Alina Stashinova in looks from the latest A/W 16 collections. The talented illustrator sat down with editor Lou Stoppard in January 2015, to discuss what makes a good fashion illustration, his ability to capture a likeness and his experiences working with some of fashion's greatest designers and iconic women. — From the Archive — Stephen Doherty's Couture Stephen Doherty Artist Stephen Doherty took up residence at SHOWstudio during the A/W 14 couture collections, depicting key looks from houses such as Dior, Schiaparelli and Maison Margiela on the walls of the studio in pastel and paint. As he worked, we captured and live streamed every brushstroke, with Doherty even continuing as our signature live discussion panels took place behind him. The resulting film shows his work in progress over the four days it took him to create his live mural.
