Our new exhibition, 'Drawing From The Archive' is open daily Monday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm. Fashion illustration from a wide range of SHOWstudio's community of artists, including Unskilled Worker, Jenifer Corker and Carylann Loeppky, now hangs in our beautiful new space at 22D Ebury Street. Alongside these unique works of art sit a selection of films exploring the processes and histories behind the medium of fashion illustration, as well as the process film from our high fashion life-drawing class '#StyleShootDraw'. Plus, an new Exhibition Walkthrough with Gallery Manager Bex Cassie, immortalises the show in a digital format and is available to watch now! A selection of SHOWstudio contributors have chosen their favourite fashion illustration for our Instagram - come by and choose yours!

Nick Knight and Beats by Dre
Nick Knight's latest fashion film, in collaboration with Beats by Dre, has now launched on SHOWstudio! Entitled 'New Space', the film uses an an amalgamation of animation, image, art and aerial performance to comment on our world's multi-faceted and multi-sensory influences and experiences. Set to a unique track by NOLIFE, the film features rapper Tino Kamal, model Demi Hannah Scott and aerialist Sasha Krohn, all of which epitomise the current wave of individualism in new media. 'Our society has changed both in terms of technology and how we interact with it, giving us the ability to experience life on many different levels and in many dimensions. Working with Beats allowed me to create a film to really express this vision of the world we now live in with all its multi-sensory was well as multi-cultural influences,' says Knight.  Explore the new dimension created by Knight and pioneered through the manipulation of new technologies such as 3D scanning. Join us for our latest round of Live Panel Discussions as we explore Haute Couture S/S 17. Revisit on-demand footage from the debate held yesterday in which our panel, including journalist Hilary Alexander and curator Shonagh Marshall, dissected Maria Grazia Chiuri's first couture collection for Christian Dior. Still to come this week, we'll be looking at the off-schedule show from Vetements, discussing the placement of the show alongside the couture schedule. We'll also be examining the offering from Valentino as the house's creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli continues without his former partner in crime, Grazia Chiuri. Today's Comme des Garçons panel, chaired by Anastasiia Fedorova, marks the final Live Panel Discussion of Menswear A/W 17! Revisit our latest series of debates from the Paris shows including Balenciaga, Yohji Yamamoto and Walter Van Beirendonck, guest chaired by both Fedorova and Finn Mactaggart. Industry experts such as creative consultant Mimma Viglezio, writer Dino Bonacic and fashion historian Nathalie Khan joined us to discuss key looks from the season. A selection of fashion students from institutions including University for the Creative Arts and London College of Fashion made up our panel on Yohji Yamamoto's A/W 17 offering. Last night, our new space at 22D Ebury Street opened its doors to friends and family to introduce our latest exhibition, 'Drawing From The Archive'. Continuing Nick Knight's championing of fashion illustration, this exhibition surveys SHOWstudio's 17-year archive, showcasing artworks that challenge conventional understandings of the medium. Animations, film and footage from live broadcasts are displayed alongside original pieces by a selection of SHOWstudio's community of over fifty artists, including the likes of Jenifer Corker, Unskilled Worker and Carylann Loeppky. Come by and explore the exhibition and our new space! Open from 10:00am-6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
