Cinematographer Arthur Jafa and SHOWstudio's Carrie Scott explore the meaning of radical and the importance of difference in a brand new 'In Your Face' segment. In-keeping with this seminal series, the interview is an honest and wide-ranging discussion exploring identity, race and what it means to be an artist in contemporary America. The interview is now available to watch on SHOWstudio and will be screened from 12 December- 14 December 2017 at 180 The Strand. Jafa's piece 'Love Is The Message, The Message Is Death' has been on show at the venue, exhibited in partnership with Serpentine Galleries, and due to popular demand, the installation has been extended until 14 December 2017.
