Maksim Bashkaev
Russian fashion designer and filmmaker Maksim Bashkaev is the winner of the first ever SHOWstudio Fashion Film Award. His film, 'Outlaw', looks at the unexplored life of 'the outlaw people' of Moscow and features fashion from his own label, aptly titled Outlaw Moscow. The group of people showcased in the film fight oppression and stand for freedom of self-expression within a conservative society. Its members are therefore seen as outlaws within mainstream Russian culture. The piece is now available to watch on SHOWstudio alongside the 550 other entries.

Nick Knight, Edward Enninful and Beats by Dre
On 29 January 2016 at 21:00 EST, the 'Seven Deadly Sins of Edward Enninful', a collaborative project between Nick Knight, Edward Enninful and Beats, premiered in Times Square, New York. The project is a celebration of Enninful's 25 year career in the fashion industry and his visionary eye. Knight and Enninful worked together to create a series of seven short films based on the seven deadly sins, featuring a host of muses including Naomi Campbell, Jourdan Dunn, Karlie Kloss and Kate Moss. If you missed the billboard release, stay tuned for the worldwide premiere of the films on SHOWstudio on 13 February 2016.

Nick Knight
This week, Nick Knight is serving as the contributing editor of CNN Style. In his first article, Knight discusses the concept of photographic sculpture, a medium which uses the latest 3D printing technology to create sculptures from photographic images. Knight also discusses the process of sculpting a 25-foot-tall representation of Naomi Campbell (of which Knight and 3D Imaging specialist, Kev Stenning are pictured with) as well as rendering Kate Moss in porcelain.

Nick Knight and Jane How
To celebrate the fantastic achievements of our Fashion Film Award winner and applicants, revisit one of Nick Knight's earliest fashion films, 'Sweet'. Nick Knight and stylist Jane How recreated her favourite looks from S/S 00 in foil, cellophane sweet wrappers, cupcake wrappers and doilies. The looks were recorded on a 3D scanner creating 360-degree 'landscapes'.
