This addition to our e-shop features wording that is visible only during flash photography, and was inspired by Knight's experiences watching friends pursued relentlessly by the paparazzi. 'The idea for the shirt came from the sense of outrage I felt after seeing footage of a pack of male paparazzi hounding and terrorising Kate Moss and her baby daughter at LAX airport in Los Angeles,' adds Knight. — Fashion Film — The Sound of Light's Own Destruction Nick Knight, Matthew Williams and 032c Nick Knight's new film, 'The Sound of Light's Own Destruction', was commissioned by Alyx's creative director Matthew Williams for 032c. The work features three different fireworks exploding inside a single plexiglass box and challenges the notion of the firework as something celebratory, leaving us with a poignant comment on how destructive it can be to contain and suppress beauty. The mood of the piece reflects Knight's concerns about immigration, exile, social alienation, violence, crime and repression. — From the Archive — Subjective Nick Knight, Kate Moss and Mario Sorrenti As part of our ongoing 'Subjective' series, in which Nick Knight reflects on the history of fashion photography from the perspective of the models, Kate Moss discusses shooting Calvin Klein's Obsession campaign with her then-boyfriend Mario Sorrenti. Moss recalls the initial inspiration for the shoot: 'Calvin was really clever. He saw Mario's book and it was all pictures of me on holiday - it was obsession!
