— Nick Knight: Image Nick Knight at Daelim Museum Nick Knight's first solo exhibition launches at the Daelim Museum in Seoul today. Featuring over 100 works and installations by Knight, the exhibition brings together some of his earliest works, from the 'Skinheads' series right through to iconic images such as 'British Birds'. To celebrate the exhibition launch, a comprehensive gallery of the exhibition is available to view on SHOWstudio. Be sure not to miss this unprecedented collection of Nick Knight images. — From the Archive — Unseen McQueen Nick Knight and Alexander McQueen Nick Knight's collaboration with Alexander McQueen marks one of the most productive and fruitful creative relationships of his career. Our 2015 project, 'Unseen McQueen' contains footage from some of Knight's most memorable shoots, including McQueen in a padded cell for Talk magazine, citing the designer's unhappiness at Givenchy. The project also contains an incredible archive of interviews with Knight, both in conversation with McQueen and discussing their collaborative process. — From the Archive — Black Nick Knight and Alexander McQueen Nick Knight's breathtaking 'Black' photo, made up of images shot backstage at Alexander McQueen's 2004 Amex-sponsored show of the same name, is brought to life in movement. The cube formation mimics the striking glass box set from the show, which was a nod to the iconic 'Voss' presentation from S/S 01. This four channel video installation is on display at 'Nick Knight: Image', Knight's first solo exhibition in Seoul, Korea. — From the Archive — Dynamic Blooms Nick Knight and Alister Mackie In 2011, Nick Knight and Alister Mackie transformed contemporary fashion into breathtaking modern flowers in this memorable film. Revisit one of SHOWstudio's most evocative projects, depicting high fashion developing into the blooms so synonymous with Knight's work. — From the Archive — Beasting Nick Knight, Simon Foxton, John Galliano and Ruth Hogben 'Beasting' is the process of subjecting a new recruit in the armed forces to harsh treatment in order to instil discipline. Featuring John Galliano's outlandish Autumn/Winter 2007 collection, Nick Knight and Simon Foxton's fashion film and editorial explores this concept through a brawny spectacle of hypermasculinity.
