SHOWstudio are delighted to announce our next fashion illustration exhibition, 'Fashion Flora', opening Tuesday 23 May! The original artworks from SHOWstudio's network of contemporary fashion illustrators, commissioned by Nick Knight, present an explorative look at the use of flowers as a motif in fashion throughout the decades. Catwalk looks, selected by celebrated floral designer Flora Starkey, showcase an array of bulbs and blooms, paying tribute to the many designers who have consistently reworked and reconsidered the flower, including Alexander McQueen, Dries Van Noten and John Galliano. Films from SHOWstudio's 17-year archive will also be exhibited, alongside Starkey's beautiful arrangements of British flowers and plants. 'Fashion Flora' is open to the public from Tuesday 23 May Monday-Friday from 10:30am-6:00pm at the SHOWstudio Gallery, 22D Ebury Street - come by to explore the floral take-over!
