CHALLENGING THE TYPICAL NOTION OF GIFS

As part of SHOWstudio's 'Flora' series, stylist Anna Trevelyan and photography duo Meinke Klein collaborated on a GIF project, 'In Bloom'. The project sees floating models decked in cute collars and fancy frocks by the likes of Simone Rocha, Meadham Kirchhoff, Erdem and Dries Van Noten, while surrounded by of whirling array of blossoms. The motion for the animated GIFs was inspired by the movements of roller-coasters, indoor waterslides and Alice in Wonderland.

INVESTIGATING THE ROLE HAIR PLAYS IN FASHION

Central Saint Martins students create projects based on the theme of hair

'Hair', a project initiated by Lou Stoppard, asked students and creatives to question the perceptions typically associated with hair in fashion and culture.
