— Diamond Blues Kate Moss and Bobby Gillespie When SHOWstudio launched sixteen years ago, on 27 November 2000 at 19:27 GMT, the first film to feature on the site was 'Diamond Blues'. The film features intimate Super-8 footage of supermodel Kate Moss singing with Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie. The musician, Moss and a selection of their friends record an impromptu version of the track 'Diamond Blues' in this film depicting the lightness of a playful summer's afternoon. Celebrate SHOWstudio's sixteenth birthday with this beautiful, epochal fashion film! — From the Archive — #StyleShootDraw Molly Bair, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Jazzelle Zanaughtti, Ruth Bell and more On 30 June and 1 July 2016, SHOWstudio undertook its first ever Facebook Live broadcast, marking a pivotal moment in our embracing of new technologies. It also sees a landmark moment in SHOWstudio's support and championing of fashion illustration. The stream, a collaboration with GARAGE Magazine, encompassed a high fashion photoshoot and a luxury life drawing class. Models such as Molly Bair, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Jazzelle Zanaughtti and Ruth Bell, were styled in high fashion by the Chaos Fashion duo, Charlotte Stockdale and Katie Lyall. Nick Knight then shot the girls whilst 20 of the world's top illustrators simultaneously rendered them in paint, pencil and ink. — From the Archive — Pin-Ups Lily Donaldson, Jourdan Dunn, Sui He, Behati Prinsloo and more In 2014, Nick Knight and Sophia Neophitou, editor-in-chief of 10 magazine and one of the masterminds behind the infamous Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, united for a unique live photoshoot. The infamous 'Angels' came alive in a series of animated vignettes produced using an Xbox Kinect as a 3D scanning device. The shoot was streamed live on 16, 17 and 18 October and 7 November 2014 and highlights the fundamental ethos of SHOWstudio; to share the process of a fashion shoot through its entire conception. Explore Knight's modern take on a pin-up image, updated using the cutting edge technology SHOWstudio has pioneered since its inception in 2000.
